David Bruegel is a Lubbock-based real estate broker and business owner with a decade of experience serving clients throughout Lubbock and the surrounding West Texas region. As the Broker and Owner of Wise Cardinal Realty, David has built his career around helping buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners navigate real estate with knowledgeable guidance and a strong commitment to protecting their interests. His experience spans residential and commercial real estate, property management, investment properties, and representing clients throughout the buying and selling process.
After years of working in the real estate industry, David founded Wise Cardinal Realty after recognizing the need for a brokerage that placed the client's interests ahead of simply making a sale. That philosophy became a central part of the company's approach: treating real estate professionals as fiduciaries whose responsibility is to help clients make informed decisions and provide strong representation throughout every transaction. As broker, David also oversees and works alongside other real estate agents, bringing his experience to both client transactions and the continued development of the Wise Cardinal Realty team.
Throughout his career, David has worked with a wide variety of properties and clients, including first-time homebuyers, homeowners preparing to sell, investors, landlords, and commercial real estate clients. His experience includes property pricing, marketing, negotiations, contracts, property management, and guiding clients through the many details involved in completing a successful real estate transaction. His work has taken him beyond Lubbock County into communities across the surrounding region, giving him a broad understanding of the West Texas real estate market.
David's involvement in housing also extends beyond traditional real estate brokerage. In addition to operating Wise Cardinal Realty, he has been involved in residential property maintenance through The House Medic, a business providing services such as painting, flooring, drywall work, and other residential repairs. That hands-on exposure to property maintenance complements his real estate experience and provides an additional perspective on the practical side of owning, maintaining, and investing in real property.
